On September 8th, the KW Wargaming Guild held its Annual General Meeting, discussing financial updates and future initiatives. The Guild is in a strong financial position with increased membership and reduced pizza prices. New programs include Game Ambassador Event Kits and monthly Guest Nights to encourage community engagement.

During the holiday season, I reflect on our club’s remarkable journey from an idea to a debt-free Not-for-Profit Organization. Thanks to everyone’s support, we’ve lowered fees and expanded member offerings. The club provides an escape from life’s stresses, fostering community and connection. Here’s to growth in 2025! A few folks from the guild attended the Great Canadian Open Summer 2024 this weekend and walked away from some accolades. Congrats to Patrick Miller for winning best painted with his Free Folk army. Congrats to Derek Thompson for winning “Best Nights Watch” even though it was by default 😛
